The Greek-German Literature Symposium SYN _ ENERGY BERLIN _ ATHENS was held on September 17. until 21. October 2018 and gathered more than 20 poets, prose authors, playwrights, translators, essayists and publishers from Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It was a great transnational, transdisciplinary and above all exciting literary dialogue – organized by Diablog Vision e.V. in cooperation with Lettrétage e.V.

On a total of six panels different topic-matters were covert: „Myths as a Performative Act,“ „Rhythm, Word, Music“, „Poetrypolitics“, „Race Gender Class“, „Bridge Builders“, and „Writing Practice/Presentation Forms.“ In addition, there was a long German-Greek reading night at the „Heimathafen Neukölln“, poetry performances and readings.

A collection has now been published summarising the contributions and results of the symposium. A total of 155 pages with all the contributions to the debate as well as transcripts of the discussions.
