Graduated in German, Philosophy and Theatre, Film and Television Studies in Frankfurt am Main. For many years, he worked for the Funkkolleg. Has worked for almost 30 years as a literary critic and lecturer as well as a radio presenter, speaker and text editor. Publisher of the German-language works in the series Greek Classics in Translations by Aiora Verlag in Athens. Lives in Frankfurt am Main and Athens.
