born 1960 in Athens. After studying Classical Philology and History in Athens and Cologne, he has worked as an editor at Deutsche Welle since 1989. Since 2000 he has been head of the Greek editorial department of DW.
He has translated German prose and poetry into Greek (P. Handke, H.M. Enzensberger, T. Bernhard, G. Grass, J. Sartorius). He works for the arts section of the Greek weekly To VIMA since 1996. He lives in Cologne, where he works as a journalist and literary translator.
