Adrian Kasnitz was born in the last century and began writing during his studies in Cologne and Prague. He lives in Cologne (Germany) and Kwiecewo (Poland) where he works as writer, editor and historian. He was awarded with the Rolf-Dieter-Brinkmann-Prize and received a grant from the Ministry of Arts of North Rhine-Westphalia. Some of his poems were translated e.g. into Arabian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, and Ukrainian.
